Worry Wart Jeanne

I know that I obsess about crazy stuff. I guess it might be stage fright or something but I'm really nervous about my internship. I guess everyone has those fears that they won't be able to do their "job".

I went to the middle school and met with my mentors and got introduced to the kids today. They are all cute with their little faces and stuff. *sigh*

I hate self-doubt. I can just hear Jerry spouting off a quotes about anxiety as I sit here and type.

I know that the internship is there for me to practice all those things we did in class. I am just afraid of letting down the students. And myself...

    You're not going to disappoint anyone. Remember: you're learning, and they know that. You are going to gain so much from this experience, and they are going to be so thrilled to have someone there just for them.

    I know it's easy to tell someone to not be nervous (trust me, I feel that way ALL the time), but I'm sure once you get the first day outta the way, you'll feel differently.

    When it comes to speaking, it's impossible for me not to sweat. I was so nervous during my first paid speech that I perspired through my suit... A fellow speaker encouraged me to focus more on the audience and less on myself. When I embraced this mindset, accepted what was unchangable, amazing possibilities opend up before me. -Roger Crawford

Hi-Tech Bed

So our Select Comfort Bed arrived today. So far so good. Although I think we are losing air (it's not staying at 100 after I fill). Not sure though. Tonight will be the real test. I think my sleep number is 35. When trying it out both in the store and at home that is where I'm not feeling any pressure on my hips or shoulders. Jerry thinks his number is around there too. I'm really hoping this will help with Jerry's back, shoulder, neck pains. He is so much better but he occasionally gets flare ups. No fun Oh yea...and the controller is Wireless. We can be gadget whores in our sleep too!
