Holiday Cocktails

Imodium and Diet Sprite, my drink of choice. I really really just want this flu to be over with. I did managed to go out to get laundry soap. Wheeee! I am going to tackle laundry today, no time for the flu. I may nap between loads though.

Why am I up at 2am?

When I should be asleep because I have to work at 7am? I don't know if any of you remember the accident back in December . This time I heard it. We were laying in bed sleeping when I heard the car hit the telephone pole right outside our bedroom window. It seemed like the crashing noises went on for 5 minutes but I know that isn't true. I hopped up and grabbed the phone and dialed 911 and as I did walked to our porch to see a silver SUV about 2 houses down crosswise in the road. I also noticed the telephone pole on the grass and splinters everywhere. Apparently from the neighbors gossip the guy left his vehicle afterwards and started running down the street. When the police arrived they checked out the car and then they went speeding off to find him. I didn't see it but others said there was lots of blood on the dashboard of the car. It looks like it rolled a few times. I should mention that we live on a one way street. The posted speed limit is 30 mph but in b...

Tonight a few of my classmates and I went down to St. Augustine to see the FSDB (Florida School for the Deaf and Blind) Dance Troupe . What a fun evening. The music they picked, their choreography and most of all their smiles were wonderful. Two of my favorites were Thriller (Michael Jackson) and eBay (Weird Al). They had thriller down. It was perfect. And eBay..well...if you haven't heard the Weird Al parody than you are just missing out all together If you ever get a chance to see one of these performances in your area, I highly recommend you attend. Random bits

Work was pretty good today. Not to busy. Was able to read about 60 pages of my book Liars and Thieves by Stephen Coonts . I'm really having fun being a reader. (tee hee hee) I always enjoyed it just never took the time to read. Now I look forward to my reading time. Class tonight. I'm a little nervous because I was doing my homework and felt completely lost. The video we had to watch seemed too advanced for me. I'm hoping I'm not the only one. I hope we go over it in class. I wonder if there are ASL tutors. Da Vinci Code - I'm really looking forward to this movie. The book was great. I am tired of all the hoopla though. It's fiction. I guess I'm at a point in my life that even if it is true that Jesus was married, it doesn't change my beliefs. Enough random thoughts...if I think of anything else..I'll add it...
