Where is the spirit?

Bah...humbug...that's how I'm feeling lately. I don't know if I'm still recovering from the overloaded semester or because one day it's 77° and the next it's 43°. I tried to do some Christmas shopping today but after looking for a parking space (in Avondale) for 20 minutes I just drove home. I haven't done any shopping yet...none...zero...zilch...I'll try again tomorrow.

Today is the release of the MMO, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. What does that mean? Well....It means for the entire weekend we will be glued to our computers. Questing and trying to level our characters quickly so that we can form our guild. So far we have friends who are coming from both Everquest 2 and Star Wars Galaxies to join us in our newest online adventures. We've even set up a voice chat program so that we can all communicate to each other. Gosh technology rocks. Did I just say gosh?!? Jerry took half a day off so that we could both get on right at the beginning of launch. Maybe we have silly priorities..but we are doing it together so there is that. Throne_for_the_Flood_King Originally uploaded by gknee . Nor'easters struck the first coast again last night. Our neighbors, or the people who are ransacking the house next door, put this on the curb earlier in the day. Driving at this point wasn't too bad as it only went up to the bumper on the Aztek. I'm glad I didn't get out of class any later. An hour after I got home the "Throne" was toppled and the water was over the sidewalk and creeping up our little retaining wall. It's not raining and I'm actually not sure what the forecast is. Strange for anyone that knows me because I have secretly always wanted to be a meterologist and drool at the "Severe Weather" warnings. (although Hurricane Floyd a couple years ago did kinda freak me out). Ok..RAMBLING......

Tonight a few of my classmates and I went down to St. Augustine to see the FSDB (Florida School for the Deaf and Blind) Dance Troupe . What a fun evening. The music they picked, their choreography and most of all their smiles were wonderful. Two of my favorites were Thriller (Michael Jackson) and eBay (Weird Al). They had thriller down. It was perfect. And eBay..well...if you haven't heard the Weird Al parody than you are just missing out all together If you ever get a chance to see one of these performances in your area, I highly recommend you attend.
