My Uncle Armando died tonight.
He was very ill and I'm sure is in a much better place. I'll never forget his stories of the Birgin Mary and how he used to drive behicles. His cuban accent was thick and for the first year I couldn't really understand him. Although I was young and didn't know any better. For any diabetics that read this...Please...PLEASE take care of yourself.
Inspiration
Went to my ASL III class last night. The professor is wonderful. She is a deaf woman. Which means we sign all the time. I love it. I was disappointed last term because it seemed like we didn't sign much. This semester will be a challenge. My friends who were in my last class with me agree that we are a little behind the rest of the students so we stayed after and explained our situation. She understood that we didn't have much conversation time and told us that she will slow her sign down a little. Which is good because to me her hands were flyin! The first 15 minutes of the class I was feeling overwhelmed and by the end I was just inspired to learn more. To be able to communicate better using ASL. Should be a fun semester.
Gknee, I'm so sorry. ((HUGS))...I'll always remember the behicles, too.
