So today has been an odd day. Prepare for the run on sentences from hell :) First I get up a little later then I was hoping to. Go to print the two papers I worked on last week only to find that the network is being screwy. So I go to the computer next to me and print from there. I get showered, hardly any hot water because I didn't notice the toliet handle needed to be jiggled so that wouldn't run. I get dress, head out to Weight Watchers. Good class..lost 1.6 lbs decide I'll grab an Arby's Roast beef sandwich on the way to class. Get there..they are out of Roast beef...WTF!!! So I order a BLT (not as good for me cause of the mayo and bread but what the heck). Tweny minutes later I get BLT with no mayo, go up tot he counter and they were going to make me another but I just got mayo packets. Scarf down my lunch and decide I deserve a MMCLF (Mint Mocha Chip Light Frappuccino) from Starbucks. Get cut off in the parking lot and spot my parking spot, had my signal on and this ...well...woman pulls in and in front of me to take the spot. ARGH!! Get my MMCLF and enjoy a few sips and off to class I go. Class was pretty fun today. Reviewing a lot of signs and learned a few new ones. Probably signs that I shouldn't repeat in public. Why do we always want to learn bad words. Ok..they aren't bad but they don't really help me with my projects because I can't really sign that "Sally is into S&M" for credit now can I? One more class to go then I'm home for a relaxing evening. "How I Met your Mother" is on tonight. It's such a cute show. I better log off and read my assignment for my next class. TTFN!

Inspiration

Went to my ASL III class last night. The professor is wonderful. She is a deaf woman. Which means we sign all the time. I love it. I was disappointed last term because it seemed like we didn't sign much. This semester will be a challenge. My friends who were in my last class with me agree that we are a little behind the rest of the students so we stayed after and explained our situation. She understood that we didn't have much conversation time and told us that she will slow her sign down a little. Which is good because to me her hands were flyin! The first 15 minutes of the class I was feeling overwhelmed and by the end I was just inspired to learn more. To be able to communicate better using ASL. Should be a fun semester.

TV Seasons and other stuff

As Jerry had mentioned, Veronica Mars has been cancelled. While I keep hoping another network will pick it up, I highly doubt that will happen. Pretty much all of "my" regular shows have finished their seasons. I know Jerry and I have wondered lately why networks only have a Fall season. Why not do it based on the seasons of the year. I just know I shouldn't be stuck watching 5 nights of CSI, Law and Order or Deal or No Deal. (I don't actually watch any of those). The Networks suck..yes..there..I said it. They have cancelled wonderfully intelligent shows like Veronica Mar, Andy Barker P.I., Studio 60 (although for some reason there is a new episode next Thursday) and The Class (although they really couldn't go on with that much more, but it was clever). I wonder who their test market is. Do people really want 7 days or reality shows and game shows? Ok, enough of the small screen... We went to see Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End today. Random bits

Work was pretty good today. Not to busy. Was able to read about 60 pages of my book Liars and Thieves by Stephen Coonts . I'm really having fun being a reader. (tee hee hee) I always enjoyed it just never took the time to read. Now I look forward to my reading time. Class tonight. I'm a little nervous because I was doing my homework and felt completely lost. The video we had to watch seemed too advanced for me. I'm hoping I'm not the only one. I hope we go over it in class. I wonder if there are ASL tutors. Da Vinci Code - I'm really looking forward to this movie. The book was great. I am tired of all the hoopla though. It's fiction. I guess I'm at a point in my life that even if it is true that Jesus was married, it doesn't change my beliefs. Enough random thoughts...if I think of anything else..I'll add it...
