Vegas Baby! (Day 2)

Woke up at the crack of dawn. Jerry had a golf outing and had to be out the door at 6am. I got up, leisurely got dressed and headed down for breakfast. Hit the slots for a few and then headed back to the room for a nap. So far..vacation rocks! Woke up and hit the Forum Shops. My taste in shopping does NOT fit my budget. I love shiny sparkly things. I didn't buy anything but a $2.95 20oz Diet Mt. Dew. I know...I can live it up...heh. Decided to gamble a little more....yeah..I'm not very good at that too. Thankfully my friend from college called and we decided to meet. So around 2pm we headed out to the pool bar and chat. 4 hours later....Our stomachs hurt so much from laughing that we decided we needed some food. Jerry had a reception that he had to go to so we headed to the Mesa Grill for some apps and more drinks. Queso Funditos and Coffee Patrone..nuf said! Jerry finished and the three of us headed to the Peppermill for some dinner. Very pink...very neon and pretty yummy. Of course it was nice to not pay an arm and a leg for a drink or food. Still a little sticker shocked from todays bar tabs. Can't put a price on the fun we had though. I sound like a Master Card commercial...haha. Ok...Please excuse any grammar, spelling or rambling this post may have. I can't even capture how much fun today was.

I am a HUGE fan of the new Battlestar Galatica (BSG). Sad to hear that they are coming to an end next year. Does it mean they get to Earth? Are the Cylons defeated? Or do they find a peaceful way to co-exist with the Cylons? OR...are they going to leave it in cliff hangers for future movies? Thank goodness for DVD's so that I can always get my BSG fix!

Hi-Tech Bed

So our Select Comfort Bed arrived today. So far so good. Although I think we are losing air (it's not staying at 100 after I fill). Not sure though. Tonight will be the real test. I think my sleep number is 35. When trying it out both in the store and at home that is where I'm not feeling any pressure on my hips or shoulders. Jerry thinks his number is around there too. I'm really hoping this will help with Jerry's back, shoulder, neck pains. He is so much better but he occasionally gets flare ups. No fun Oh yea...and the controller is Wireless. We can be gadget whores in our sleep too!
